Launching September 2026
The Liverpool Singers Youth Ensemble is a brand-new auditioned chamber choir for female voices aged 14–19, offering young singers a professional, ambitious and artistically vibrant place to grow. As the youth branch of The Liverpool Singers, the ensemble provides high-level choral training, musicianship development and the experience of performing exciting repertoire to an exceptional standard.
Members will perform four to five concerts each year, gaining confidence, versatility and musical independence while representing one of Liverpool’s most exciting new vocal groups. This is a choir for singers who want to be challenged, inspired and creatively stretched — a place for talented young musicians to thrive.

Auditions
Entry to LSYE is by audition to ensure the ensemble remains focused, committed and musically strong.
Auditions will involve:
A short prepared song of your choice
Simple aural and musicianship exercises
A brief sight-reading section
A friendly chat about your experience and aspirations
We’re looking for potential, musical curiosity and enthusiasm — not perfection.
